About the Company:

Marty Bowen -Producer

Wyck Godfrey -Producer

In January 2006 these two longtime friends partnered to form Temple Hill Productions.  Named after the street where they once lived as roommates, Temple Hill is aimed at developing and producing films that exemplify the values embraced by the American heartland.  Wyck, an East Tennessee transplant, and Marty, a native Texan, felt a responsibility to make movies geared toward the world in which they grew up, a world often ignored by the Hollywood community.

Currently in production are the NEW MOON and ECLIPSE, the sequels to  TWILIGHT, starring Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson, based on the best selling series by Stephenie Meyer, and released by Summit Entertainment.

“The Nativity Story” was Bowen and Godfrey’s first production under their new Temple Hill banner.  Directed by Catherine Hardwicke (THIRTEEN, LORDS OF DOGTOWN) and starring Oscar nominated actress Keisha Castle-Hughes (WHALE RIDER), the film focuses on the events leading up to the birth of Jesus. MANAGEMENT, a comedy written and directed by Stephen Belber and starring Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn for Sidney Kimmel Entertainment was released May 2009.

Temple Hill has several projects slated for release in the near future. In post production is DEAR JOHN, directed by Lasse Hallstrom, starring Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried, and based on the Nicholas Sparks book. Finally, it has just been announced that GEARS OF WAR, the movie adaptation of Epic Games' monster hit for the Xbox 360 and the 2007 Video Game of the Year, will be directed by Len Wiseman for New Line Cinema and Legendary Pictures.
